DISCOVER THE FOURTH DIMENSION OF RIDING

GAITED HORSE BREEDS

We keep and breed gaited horses. In other words, horses that have one or two additional gaits in addition to the basic gaits of walk, trot and canter. Our Tennessee Walkers can “walk” in two additional gaits, our Rocky Mountain Horses, and Icelandic horses can “tolt”. Gaited horses have the genetic predisposition to their special gaits, which is specifically promoted in the training of the horses. Special gaits of gaited horses, with the exception of the pace, are variations of the walk. So the horse moves in a 4-beat cycle and always has one leg on the ground. The result is a fast movement comparable in speed to the trot, which, unlike the trot, is very low-vibration and therefore extremely comfortable. Discover the fourth dimension of riding.

TENNESSEE WALKER

Tennessee Walking Horses are medium-sized, strong, gaited horses with a balanced temperament. Their stick size is between 145 and 173 cm (14.3 to 17 hands). Its comfortable gaits (flat walk and running walk) have made the Walker a highly valued companion for its owners since the breed's inception.

ROCKY MOUNTAIN HORSES

Rocky Mountain Horses (RMH) are medium-sized, gaited horses. Their stick size is between 144 and 163 cm (14.2 – 16.0 hands). They are real four-gaiters who, in addition to walk, trot and canter, are genetically predisposed to gait. They have a particularly calm and friendly nature, good rideability, stamina and sure-footedness. Rocky Mountain Horses are therefore ideal family, leisure and trail riding horses. In the USA they are also used as show horses.
